Eric Lee works primarily in oil in conjunction with a number of experimental techniques involving furniture stain, ashes, concrete, ignited gunpowder, digital components and a variety of papers. Subject matter is derived primarily from the post-industrial cities of the Great Lakes Basin, which serve as models for his interest in the American character and the rise and fall of civilizations. Eric Lee's work has been shown regularly throughout the upper midwest, most recently at the Rahr-West Museum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
The space at which our culture comes in contact with the environment is the inspiration for Jason Lanka's creative work. Much can be understood about the nature of how society defines its role and place within the natural world by the observation of this boundary. Jason's work is included in the University of Wyoming President's Collection, the Wolf Law Library Collection at the College of William and Mary, and the President's Collection at the College of William and Mary.
