Study Room

Need a quiet place to study?  We have a new study room available for use by homeschool groups, tutors and students, reading partners, or groups of students working together on projects or homework.  This room may be reserved up to a month ahead of time, and is available for walk-ins if the room is open.  Up to four people may use the room at a time.  Please call Youth Services at 715-839-5007, email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Die Cut Machine

We have a Die Cut Machine and a collection of over 150 die cuts for public use!  Our Die Cut Machine will help you make eye-catching displays, craft projects, or educational projects in seconds!  You may use the Die Cut Machine any time the library is open.  Please bring your own paper to cut.  For more information, to see the die cuts we own, or to print out a requent form you can bring with you to the library, please see below.

As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher and the Youth Services Department strives to provide high quality resources to support you in this role. With storytimes that encourage emergent literacy skills, school-age book discussions, programs for teenagers, a wide array of books and magazines, music CDs, entertainment and educational DVDs, computer software for children and teens, and much more, we pride ourselves on having something for every child!

Are you beginning a new unit and need resources to support your lesson? Youth Services has a wide variety of resources for you to use in your classroom. We can help you find books, DVDs, music and more!

Would you like your class to visit the library? We would be happy to work with you to schedule a tour of the public library and show your students all that we have to assist them in their research.

Assignment alert! Are your students starting a research project? If you are planning an assignment that requires students to use library resources, please let us know. With advanced notice, we can be better prepared to help your students find what they need, when they need it. If you assign annual projects, we would love to hear about any suggestions that you have for addition to our collection. When teachers and public librarians work together, every student succeeds!
